In 1996 while giving advice on Credit Management to the Canterbury branch of MTA we were asked by those members present to develop a system that would enable them to; get paid quicker, pay no collection fees, black list their bad debtors, share that information with other businesses, keep the late payment and collection charges and do it all within the law. We designed a system that does just that and called the company Debtorinfo. We launched the system in 2004 with MTA and in the last ten years we have built up an enviable list of businesses and professionals who all pay just a small subscription each month to access our services; in fact most of our clients collect much more in late payment fees than they pay us.
